Export Project Dynamics

Content
If project management is without doubt a discipline that is applied to export missions, learning about it is not confined exclusively to this module. Instead, it features throughout the various training modules that the Train4Trade EIG proposes because it is the very essence of our teaching.
The module Export project dynamics thus has as its objectives to impart to participants:
- The precise definition of an export mission regarding its content, objectives, its various phases, responsibilities, constraints and its risks;
- The planning of every aspect of an export mission, including timing, expenses, quality imperatives, communication, relationships with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders, the constitution and management of the export team, as well as risk control (the latter point will be linked to the content of Module 9 on risk control in exporting) ;
- Setting up monitoring indicators for the realisation of the export mission.
Pedagogy
It is crucial that the apprenticeship of project management – a discipline of integration –is accomplished within the framework of a professional mission – real or virtual – of the participant, either individually or by group.
It is for this reason that the students are invited to acquire – through targeted exercises – the specific techniques and tools designed for export project management. Then, throughout the training programme, they have the assignment of creating a mission plan, according to a given model, for a real or virtual mission that they have also been assigned, individually or in groups. At the end of the period of apprenticeship, this mission plan is presented and discussed with the trainer, who plays the role of decision maker.
